An Experiment for a Sustainable Ecosystem

Currently, Birdieswap is in a Beta and Experimental Operation Phase to verify the protocol's stability and revenue structure before the official launch. During this period, instead of charging complex ETH transaction costs to users, we are temporarily introducing a 'Reserve Rate' model where the protocol and users seek growth together. This is not a concept of collecting service fees, but an experiment to accumulate a portion of the revenue in a Common Vault for the long-term health of the ecosystem.

Operational Mechanism

A Structure Without Upfront Fees During the Beta period, there are no separate ETH fees that users must pay when using the service. Instead, the Reserve Rate is applied during the revenue realization process automatically performed by the system.

  • Applied Target: Revenue accumulated from Swap Fees (in bToken form).

  • Applied Timing: Upon execution of Auto-Harvest and Auto-Compounding.

  • Reserve Rate: 50%

Operational Example

When the system harvests the swap fee revenue generated from your position, 50% of the harvested bTokens are reinvested into your principal to create a compounding effect, and the remaining 50% is transferred and accumulated in a specific address called the 'Reserve Vault.'

Reserve Vault Policy

Principles of Transparency and Non-Intervention We adhere to strict 'Freeze and Preserve' principles for assets accumulated during this experimental period.

  • Purpose of Accumulation: These funds are not used for the project team's operating expenses or salaries. They act as reserves solely to test the protocol's profitability and sustainability, and to be utilized for future governance or ecosystem funds.

  • No-Touch Policy: Until the Beta operation ends, the project team will not arbitrarily withdraw, use, or dispose of the assets accumulated in the Reserve Vault. All accumulation history is transparently disclosed on-chain and can be verified by anyone.

Future Plans

The current Reserve Rate (50%) and accumulation method are policies limited to the Beta period. At the time when the experimental operation is successfully concluded and transitions to the official version, the fee rate, collection method, and usage of the accumulated reserves will be newly determined with the interests of the community and ecosystem as the top priority. Birdieswap aims primarily to build a trustworthy system rather than immediate profit.
